Why we need a big juicy WHY

When life gets crazy – and it has been globally! – , add in personal challenges and potential lack of motivation and inspiration, what keeps you going? What keeps you on track with the dream, vision and goals you have for yourself, for your life?

With short attention spans, distractions like social media, and all things vying for your attention how do you stay on track?

Here’s how… 

The most important thing that will bring you back and connect you with goals is your big juicy WHY!

Your WHY is the reason you do what you do or want to be doing. The reason you’re called to start a business, be of service, take that job… 

And where do you go to be inspired and connect to your big juicy WHY?

Every now and then I take time off to travel, and I especially love to go on spiritual retreats with yoga and meditation to nourish myself. Here you see me in the Ganges, the holy river of India. I was there in 2019, in an ashram, and this picture was made after I got clear on my vision and goals for that year. What better way to bless myself AND my big WHY with the holy water of the Ganges!

Now, I realize that not everybody gets to travel to India, but you really can do it in a much simpler way. 

Here’s an exercise that can help right where you are! 

Take a moment to get present with a few deep breaths, bring your awareness to your heart to reconnect with your Soul’s Purpose. Feel into it and know that you are here for a reason and everything you do is serving your big WHY. In this moment of deep connection, ask yourself WHY. Why is your dream important to you? What will it give you? What will it bring others, humanity, the world? 

What’s your JUICIEST Indulgent “WHY” you want for your (future) business, job or community work, or [insert your big vision here] …..?

My BIG JUICY WHY: My business is an embodied expression of my Soul’s purpose. 

Seeing people heal their deeper wounding and imprints, stand in and live from the infinite nature of their purpose brings me intense joy, the kind of joy that carries me and uplifts me every day. I want my business to be a force for good in our world, to uplift harmony and sustain a world where all beings thrive. One that feels liberating, joyful, nourishing, prosperous, and filled with love. I am committed to leading a life that I don’t need to vacation from. 

I am a big believer of the fact that a powerful mission or purpose has a SELFLESS element, as well as a SELFISH one. Because we cannot serve others if we don’t nourish ourselves! Nurturing yourself first will pull you forward in your business, career or project vision. The oxygen mask on the plane concept, remember?

So, it’s about serving myself and others. I thrive on the joy that the work brings me, it fulfills my heart. I heard someone say that women who don’t have children, by choice or not, tend to go into careers where they can give their ‘motherly’ love to others. That really resonated with me, I get so much joy out of seeing others grow, develop and rise above themselves. It’s like living in the field of love. And I am transforming when my clients transform . 

My vision for this year is to help even more beautiful souls heal themselves, shift their mindset and step into their power so they can make their difference in this world. So that we, as spiritual seekers, change makers and lightworkers can shine our lights and raise the collective frequency on this beautiful planet. 

Another part of my purpose and vision is to have financial freedom, being able to travel and work in places that I love (which I’ve already been doing!). Fulfil my Soul’s purpose with more ease and joy. I set the intention to have the freedom to do whatever I want, whenever I want, wherever I want and however I want to do it. 

I believe that standing in my full power as a divine feminine creator, lets my business thrive naturally while inspiring all the beautiful Souls in my community and beyond to shed what holds them back from living their highest potential too.
